Following the physical installation of the Levelise Hub, it must be commissioned via the Levelise app.
How do installers get access to your app?
The commissioning process is split into the following steps:
- Scan the QR code on the Levelise Hub to initiate the commissioning process.
- Enter the details of the installation.
- Connect Hub to the internet.
- Complete diagnostic checks.
- Assist resident in setting up their account.
Scan the QR code on the Levelise Hub to initiate the commissioning process
- You will find the QR code on the inside of the door (Hub 1.5) or on the side of the Hub (Hub 2).
- Scan the QR code when prompted to do so in the app.
- If the QR code will not scan, contact support@levelise.com.
Enter the details of the installation
- Enter the system type - AC-coupled or DC-coupled. It is very important to select the correct option as this dictates the rest of the commissioning process. Generally, an AC-coupled system will have separate PV and battery inverters whereas a DC-coupled system has a single hybrid inverter.
- Enter the battery inverter manufacturer.
- Enter the inverter model.
- Enter the inverter power in kW.
- Enter the battery model.
- Enter the number of batteries.
- If you cannot select the required set-up, please confirm that the installed devices are currently compatible with the Levelise Hub.
Connect Hub to the internet (Hub 2 only)
- Connect the Hub to the internet router via ethernet cable where possible.
- If required, a Wi-Fi connection can be set up - follow the on-screen instructions. Please be patient as some of the connection steps can take a moment.
Complete diagnostic checks
- Basic checks - check for any red indicators under "Noted faults".
- PV check - if there is sufficient sunlight, generation should be displayed.
- Kettle test - the spike of power usage should be identifiable.
- Battery checks - check the battery is behaving as expected.
Assist resident in setting up their account
- Once commissioning is complete and no faults are reported, pass the card included in the Hub packaging to the resident so they can scan the QR code and create their account.
- If the resident is not present, please leave the card in an obvious location for them.
