Of course - although we'd rather keep you with us!
We currently estimate our Grid Services customers will receive an average of around £100 - £110 a year through our battery optimisation. Please see our article here that details other things you could be missing out on.
What can we change? We want to hear from you on why you would want to stop optimising your system, once we've had a chance to review your concerns all we ask for a minimum of two months’ notice, but we have never enforced it. Hence, we can remove you from our services within 3 days of your request. The length of time is dependent on the contracts in place with National Grid and the number of systems still operating to meet those needs, but we will endeavour to follow any requests to terminate as quickly as possible.
If you wish to cancel your contract with us, please email us on support@levelise.com with your name and address, we will confirm once this has been done.
Once you have cancelled these services, you will no longer receive any direct payments from Levelise and your system will operate with default settings. This essentially means it'll charge as much as possible from the solar and support the property where it can when charged. The 10% minimum charge, which is set by the manufacturer will still remain to keep the battery healthy.
Once you cancel your GSA, we will no longer be optimising your system - meaning we are not controlling how the system behaves.
