Introduction
This article explains how to reset a SolaX T45 battery if you are experiencing an issue with it. Click here to identify your battery type.
Safety
Please only proceed with this process if you feel comfortable and safe to do so. We can arrange for an engineer to do this for you, but this visit will be chargeable.
Process
Step 1
Locate the cover to the power controls to the top right-hand side of the T45 Battery.
Step 2
Remove the cover by releasing the four screws located on the outer corners of the cover to reveal the power controls.
Step 3
Press the power button once (when the button is flush with the frame this means it's off, when it's slightly indented in, this means it’s on) to switch the battery off. Then flick the MCB to the off position (right).
Step 4
Go to the Social Energy Hub and remove the small cover using the thumb screw to release.
Step 5
Turn off the left-hand Battery MCB by flicking into the down position,
Your hub may have a double MCB for the battery or just a single one.
Wait for 1 minute then turn the MCB back on.
Replace the cover.
Please note: If you have been asked to update the firmware on your inverter, please do so now.
Step 6
Return to the battery and re-energise it by flicking the battery MCB back into the on position (left) and pressing the power button once (when the button is flush with the frame this means it's off, when it's slightly indented in, this means it’s on).
Replace the cover.
Step 7
There should now be LEDs illuminated on the battery. Please take photos (or a short video of these if they are changing) and email them to support@levelise.com. We can then check if the issue is resolved.
