For Levelise to optimise your battery and for you to view your data through our app, your Social Energy/Levelise Hub must be connected to the internet at all times.
There are several different ways that your system can connect to the internet, please see the information below to identify your connection type.
Powerline adaptors
Powerline adaptors (PLAs) enable your internet connection to be carried through your electrical circuit. You will have one adaptor plugged into an electrical wall socket near your internet router. This will be connected to your internet router via an ethernet cable.
You will have a second adaptor plugged into an electrical wall socket near your battery. This will be connected to your Social Energy/Levelise Hub via an ethernet cable.
There are different types of PLAs available, here are some common ones.

Direct connection (also known as a hardwire)
You will have a single ethernet cable that connects your Social Energy/Levelise Hub to your internet router. This connection may go via a network switch to allow additional devices to use the same connection. A typical network switch is shown below.
